Do You Know How To Rest?


This might seem like a strange question to some people, but if we really think about it, many of us don't know how to truly rest.  The lines between our work life and personal life can become blurry.  Our weekends can become just as busy as our weekdays.  

So, really think about this question.  Do you know how to relax?  What are the things that help you to slow down?  When was the last time you truly felt recharged, well-rested and refreshed? 

If you can't remember, then I encourage you to begin to take one step today to invest in your own wellness. Here are a few things you can try today:

1. Go for a walk in nature/ enjoy the spring weather
2. Eat a meal away from the computer, phone and/or television. 
3. Take 5 minutes out of your day to meditate
4. Write down your dreams and vision for your life
5. Say something kind and positive to yourself.
